Weekend Wildlife happens one Saturday a month and features live animals and plants for kids to meet and learn about (ages 4+ for the safety of the animals and the children). We’ve made a monarch butterfly garden at the library and are rearing caterpillars in the children’s room. Make sure you sign up for event updates here if you want to be notified of their release date once they’ve transformed into butterflies.

Guilford residents with babies or toddlers are welcome to join our early literacy initiative, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten. A fun program of reading to your children.
